February 5th, 2021: Café Kaput start the creative year with Commentaires, their thirteenth album release, since their inception in 2010.

Commentaires is, in many ways, a trademark Café Kaput release- all the strong melodic elements are resplendent; carried along by driving, vivid analogue synth sequences and dusty, ticking rhythm boxes keeping time.

Spread across fourteen tracks, there is an air of the urban, the structural; interpretative of concrete, metallic, enclosed spaces.

If you enjoyed the succinctly composed first Applied Music volume, the chances are this will be essential listening for you.
